The 17mm Begical flange cushions are compatible with Spectra and Medela breast pumps' 24mm flanges. Crafted from BPA-free, food-safe, and stretchy plastic, these cushions provide a comfortable pumping experience. They are not suitable for use with the new Medela oval 24mm flange or Spectra's 24mm caracup flange.

Our cushions are available in a variety of sizes, including 13mm, 15mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm, to cater to different nipple diameters. This range of options ensures a customized fit and optimal milk expression. Please refer to the other product links for more information on the available sizes.

These cushions are compatible with Spectra 24mm breast pump shields, but they do not fit Spectra's 24mm caracup flange. After installation, the 24mm nipple tunnel can be reduced to 17mm, providing a snug and comfortable fit.

During the pumping process, it is essential to properly position the flange cushion into the funnel-shaped section of the flange or shield. Push the inner part of the cushion as far as possible, ensuring a complete seal around the rim. To remove any trapped air, press in between the petals. Ensure that the everted edge of the insert completely covers the flange or shield. Maintain a forward-leaning posture during use to optimize the experience.

The cushions are designed to be firm yet stretchy, providing a comfortable and customized fit. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort while pumping, or if you are between flange sizes, these cushions can be a solution. The soft, stretchy material and seamless design allow for better alignment, easier handling, and enhanced comfort. The cushions are suitable for nipple diameters ranging from 14-16mm (after a pumping session).
